If you have never tried diving before, but you are interested in what lies beneath the surface we offer a number of possibilities for you to try it out! Your 1st option is called a ‘resort course’ or ‘Discover Scuba Diving Course’. It’s a half day introductory in diving. The course consists of a brief (about 20 minutes/half hour) theory session. A short explanation, at the table, with only the basics of diving you need to know. After the talk we go into a pool, or the sea which is on Bonaire like a pool . We show and teach you 4 basic skills which make you comfortable and handy with your dive gear. Right after this practical session we go for a real dive. The costs are $ 75 incl. tax.
PADI & SDI

The beginner course teaches you all basics in diving. Its learns you to dive independently with a buddy and without a dive-instructor. The course takes about 4 days, give or take. The sessions will usually be from 9 am to 11:30 am and from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. The course consists of three different parts ; theory, pool/confined water sessions and 4 real open water dives. At the end of the course you’ll get a certification that is valid for the rest of your life ! and gives you the opportunity to dive anywhere around the world. The costs are $ 375 incl. all gear, books and training.
Advanced Open Water and Junior advanced Open Water

Rescue
To become a rescue diver you have to have efr- or first aid training completed prior to be able to enroll this program. This medical training should be successfully fulfilled according to international standards. The Rescue Course is a three day course in which you learn theoretically and practically to respond to diver and diving related problems in and around the water. Unlike the EFR course this course is a ‘wet course’. The costs of this training are $ 350 incl. tax.
We can offer you a combination of the two courses as well. The content is exactly the same. The costs for the two courses combined give you a discount of $ 50 and will therefore be $ 500Â incl. tax. For more information you can always contact us at one of our Wannadive service points.

Wannadive’s divemaster internship program
To become a divemaster Wannadive offers an internship program. This program takes a minimum of 8 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks. During this program your theoretical knowledge will be elevated to instructor level, as well as your dive skills and you will even be able to teach certain courses.
Divemaster is the first professional level in diving, and it is our sincere belief that many skills and situations simply cannot be learned out of a book. That is why, at Wannadive, the internship is the only way to become a divemaster.
You will be a fully integrated part of the Wannadive crew for the duration of the course, passing exams as you go. A mentor will be assigned to assist you in your training and help you learn the intricacies of the world of the dive professional. You can elect to seek no further training but many certified divemasters choose to continue their education and become instructors. Our internship program is an excellent preparation for the instructor course.
Wannadive is proud of the recognized success of its divemaster program. Almost all of its trainees have stayed in the industry and most have become instructors. All of the candidates that participated in our internship program successfully passed the instructor course, all found jobs, and are now teaching diving across the globe.
